Hendersonville Pentecostal Holiness Church is part of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church headquartered in Oklahoma City, OK. The denomination is arranged regionally into conferences that serve different areas of the United States. We are part of the Cornerstone Conference which serves most of North Carolina, and parts of Virginia.
HPHC started in Henderson County in 1923 under the leadership of Rev. Joe Hill. The church began in a small building on Cherry Street in Hendersonville where eventually a brick church building was built, a bulding that still stands today. In 1976, under the leadership of Pastor Homer Jenkins, the church moved to 299 South Washington Street where the church was met until July of 2005. At that time the church moved into its new 26,000 square foot facility at 991 Upward Road in Flat Rock.
HPHC has always been about loving people to Jesus Christ. At HPHC you will find a loving atmosphere. Many people say that they have never felt loved anywhere like they did when they walked into a service at HPHC.
